It’s amazing, how our minds work — we can do some styling, put on some makeup and pretend that we see some completely different person through the camera lens. And those, who are going to look at the picture, will also have some coherent story to tell about the image, very similar to the one we had in mind while working on the picture. But we hadn’t told them anything. They just “read” the message, the mood, the atmosphere, even the approximate “where” and “when” just by looking at the image.
It seems to be so simple, as we perform image recognition and analysis daily, every second, all the time, from the very first moments of our lives. But if you stop for a moment to think of it — it’s actually a miracle.

One of the most difficult things in life is letting something go. Cause nobody ever teaches you how to do it so that it doesn’t leave you hollow and in pain. We are getting closely attached to things, processes, situations, people, our favorite ways to behave. Everything we tend to think of as “it’s mine”. Even our reactions and limits are often preset, using pattern we’ve chosen once and for all. And we believe that everything that is “mine” is actually “me”. This is why letting go is so painful — we don’t part with someting external, we part with what we think is making us us, what we consist of. But it’s not like this. Abandoning things which have long been a part of us, doesn’t diminish us in any way, doesn’t make us less us. Cause what we are is a core, a nuclea, and it’s something whole, undividable and indestructible. And everything else is just “leaves on a tree”, and it’s ok to drop old leaves from time to time in order to give space to some fresh ones)
