We’ve limewashed before. But never on a 3D curved arch.
We underestimated how much extra square footage there was to paint. All of the additional edges were more complex to feather, and the curves introduced a whole new challenge for getting the texture right.

The part no one sees is usually the part that makes everything else possible.
Weeks of planning. Hours in Photoshop on wallpaper design and signage, intentionally choosing seam placements. Selecting the right colors, testing lots of samples. Hours of painting to get the perfect texture. Perfectly aligning the mural wallpaper seams to make them fade away.
This is all before even arriving on site to install.

From the beginning, they shared how important it was for their day to reflect their story; their love for travel, the memories they’ve made together, and the deep pride they carry for their cultura and roots. We wanted those pieces to shine through in a way that felt genuine and full of life.
Every detail was chosen with intention: a rich, soulful palette, thoughtful nods to the places that shaped them, and elements that honored their families and the legacy that surrounds them. A celebration of love, of heritage, of everything that makes their story uniquely theirs.
As we step into Thanksgiving week, I’m reminded how grateful I am to be trusted with these beautiful chapters. After nearly two years of planning, ending our season here felt especially meaningful; a little piece of my heart will always stay in this place, where I also said “I do.”🤎
