DAY 16 – ARH Skytrain Short
Continuing my showcase of things locked deep inside my brain and hard-drive – brings the appearance of our first (and only) SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE. This December 2011 four page comic was featured in our friends’ online BL Magazine WhutNani.
In this special comic, Adrian and Carter take a packed skytrain ride to a party for Maria’s birthday, and hijinks ensues. This comic served as a bit of cute fanservice and a peek into the future early on in the comic's run (long before Adrian and Carter became "Official")!
Does anyone remember this short comic? It used to be on the ARH website for a period of time 🙂

DAY 17 - Our first Book
Pictured is the first book cover we ever made… I was really inspired by the BL manga I was reading at the time (and that initially inspired us to make ARH!). The book is a thin, floppy thing but it was an achievement we accomplished only about 6 months after starting ARH.
I have learned so much about book printing since I first put this together! And here are the two books together for comparison (ft. First Second ARH hard cover Edition!)

DAY 18 – Adrian’s Introduction🎶
Adrian is Introduced at the very end of the first chapter of ARH. Adrian’s first encounter with Carter at Local Bookstore is a memory that is not easy to forget! This version of the old pages is from the first floppy print version. The text boxes in particular were Not It.
I remember the first time I drew this bookstore I suffered a lot on how to convey the shelf of magazines and books. On the redraw I really tried to focus on the most important part – capturing the character’s expressions and movements!
