A few years ago, they said Chula Vista would never get higher education. Said we’d been talking about it forever with nothing to show for it. But our community heard something different — the same doubts we’ve always been told about what’s possible in South Bay.
So we proved them wrong.
When plans changed, we didn’t quit — we pivoted. Strong leadership, dedicated partners, and a community that never stopped believing made it happen.
Now? We’re celebrating the first four-year nursing degree program in Chula Vista history, launching in just months.
And this is just the beginning.
