Merry Christmas!
It’s been 5 years since we’ve mailed Christmas cards, so here’s a quick recap (plus some old favorite cards):
2018: Evy started kindergarten! We set up a temporary kitchen on a card table and began a year-long renovation of our 100+ year old home in Ormewood Park. Matt and his best bud started a personal finance/craft beer podcast called Pour Not Poor.
2019: Westy was born! He’s a passionate guy full of exclamations, wonder, and energy. We ventured into Airbnb hosting, welcoming many delightful guests to our basement apartment.
2020: Clover started kindergarten! Matt shot his final wedding and went full-time with the podcast, now called How To Money. We did a LOT of gardening, and with the bounty, Clover became the family’s co-chef, cooking up many delicious dishes!
2021: ...more gardening and so many stunning hikes. Kate found a new love working with ceramics. Evy began piano and voice lessons, filling our home with our favorite music.
2022: Dottie started kindergarten! We moved to “our mountain” (Kennesaw Mt), the kids started attending Northwest Classical Academy, and we continued gardening and hiking. The girls all played a season of soccer. Dottie started teaching herself gymnastics, and Matt started CrossFit.
2023: This was a challenging year of signing up, saying yes, inviting people in, showing up, asking questions, and putting ourselves out there. So very thankful for friendship- the newly-formed and the well-established.
