One of the first jackets I ever tailored -revisited.
While placing these chains,
I could feel the metal’s frequency
ignite the jacket all over again.
Chains in motion,
carrying a charge
the spark returning.
This didn’t come from luxury.
It came from noise.
From warehouses.
From metal hitting concrete.
From bodies moving in the dark.
Nut. Bolt. Chain.
Nothing decorative about it.
But somewhere in that chaos,
I saw something else -
a rhythm, a language, a kind of beauty.
This piece doesn’t polish metal.
It lets it exist.
Heavy. Uncontrolled. Alive.
