I’m incredibly honored and grateful that Tröegs Independent Brewing and Barrel & Flow Fest have given me the opportunity to collaborate on a beer, it’s a huge milestone for me personally and professionally.
After speaking with Day Bracey, it became even clearer how intentional this mission has always been. Tröegs was an early adopter and supporter of what Barrel & Flow stood for from the very beginning — creating real opportunities and opening doors for Black people in an industry and culture that has become a true economic driver for many struggling and overlooked communities.
This movement has always been bigger than beer.
It’s about investment.
It’s about community spaces.
It’s about representation, ownership, creativity, and being invited into rooms where we historically have not always had access.

To celebrate this announcement, i wanted to release a beer I created that is deeply nostalgic for me — a nod to my first craft beer love, Blue Moon Belgian White.

There’s something special about bringing hotdogs back home to 411 Merchant Street in Ambridge. Long before our taps were flowing craft beer, this building was once known for serving up hotdogs to the community — and now we’re bringing that tradition back with an Altered Genius twist.
