Altered Concept is a Guildford-based Drum & Bass DJ and producer with over a decade of experience in the scene. Known for delivering hard-hitting sets and bringing a sound that leans heavily into the darker, grittier and more minimal side of DnB. A sound is built for late nights and heavy systems.
A resident DJ for Thirty3hz in Guildford, Altered Concept has played at some big events across the UK, supporting the likes of Break, Breakage, Halogenix, Pola & Bryson, Simula, Ed Rush & Optical, DJ Hype, and S.P.Y, among many others.
Previously running the well-known Bass Science events brand, Altered Concept is still shaping the local scene as the host of The Underground Frequencies show on Kane FM, as well as the founder of Underground Frequencies events.
As a producer, Altered Concept has released music on labels such as Yamatai Records, Platform 1 Music, and Incurzion Audio, alongside a few self releases. With more music currently in the pipeline, Altered Concept is steadily building
