Giuseppe Lo Cascio “Piles (Or The Privilege Of Building Them Identically)” 2 pcs 120x120x170cm, Steel, Rubber, Cotton. Tire materials sourced from B.R.T., Baucina (PA), 2025 Sculptures that stage contradictions, improbable forms of communication, and speculative systems of interaction. At the Caveau, Giuseppe Lo Cascio confronts central themes within his practice, exploring the object-based nature of sculpture and its role as both symbolic device and source of conceptual tension. The “piles” presented at @circoloamelia are deeply connected to memories of the landscapes of his homeland, Sicily, forming a sparse terrain of earthen mounds through an unresolved relationship of dependence and functionality. Through the repeated gesture of depositing matter onto the ground, the works investigate the utopian ambition of reproducing an archetypal form. More broadly, the installation becomes a reflection on sculpture itself, and on its relationship with memory, perception, and gesture. Anime Senza Bussola Presented by Giulia Zichella and Nicolò Rusca 35mm film, film developing, printing. A visual interpretation by Alessandro Lampa and Mattia Baleani Anime Senza Bussola (ASB) is an independent platform for artistic research and editorial production. Moving between sound, gesture, and the creation of shared space, it explores collaborative practices that bring bodies together, gathered and shaped by music, where being together turns listening into a collective experience. At the Caveau, Giulia Zichella and Nicolò Rusca transformed the space into a live photographic darkroom, revealing moments of the club’s “wandering souls” who live and breathe the clubbing scene. Active since last September within the spaces of Circolo Amelia in Milan, altéra operates as a platform in continuous evolution, deliberately positioned within a sonic ‘grey-zone’. The project avoids fixed genre references, instead tracing its own trajectory across deep techno, IDM and more exploratory corners of electronic music. Developed through a shared curatorial direction with the multidisciplinary collective @endless.interferenza , altéra has already hosted key figures from all around the world such as Al Wootton, Loek Frey, Forest On Stasys, Timnah, Shoal, Pianeti Sintetici, Harald Uunk and many more. The project’s identity is shaped by its founders and residents Philip Kylberg, Alessandro Baroncini, SEIYA, Gabsphere and Luca Scarpa. The next gathering will feature a live performance by Dino Sabatini, a key figure in Italian hypnotic techno. He will be joined by De Rio affiliate Abo Abo, alongside altéra’s residents Luca Scarpa and Gabsphere. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18, the event further consolidates Circolo Amelia as a focal point for this ongoing curatorial trajectory. » Read the full feature on our website. ⁘ Eight Chapter From the deep to the surface for this pivotal moment in our season at @circoloamelia . Dino Sabatini (IT) An enduring figure within the electronic avant-garde since the mid-2000s, Rome-born and Berlin-based artist @dinosabatiniofficial has steadily shaped a distinct sonic identity positioned between ancient ritual and speculative futures. From his formative work with Modern Heads to his evolution into a refined voice in deep, cerebral techno, Sabatini has developed a sound language defined by hypnotic repetition and dense, immersive textures that unfold with a complexity beyond reductive notions of “minimalism.” Across more than two decades of activity, Sabatini has maintained a consistent focus on depth, restraint, and sonic continuity, establishing a body of work that operates both as exploration and construction of atmosphere. His long-awaited return to Milan marks a significant moment, reopening a dialogue with a city that has closely followed — and continues to resonate with — his artistic trajectory. Abo Abo (IT) Multidisciplinary figure @abo_abo._ is a sound artist and DJ whose practice has been moving across fast techno, electroacoustic textures, and modular improvisation since 2015, building a distinct and constantly evolving sonic identity; for this occasion, he will present an extended live set, unfolding as a rare and expansive moment within his practice. With an academic background in Sound Design, his work spans immersive spatial installations and high-energy performances presented across international clubs and festivals, where he navigates between precision, intensity, and open-form experimentation. A consistent presence within the underground scene, he is a member of the @de__rio collective and co-founder of @sinestesie_ , a project that reflects his ongoing engagement with contemporary electronic music culture. Amelia is a cultural association and membership is required for acces. Membership registration for the event is mandatory and must be completed by 11pm on April 17th. All info in the link in bio.

⁘ Eight Chapter Dino Sabatini (live), Abo Abo (extended live) — 18.04.2026 altéra’s descent of the season will spotlight two artists whose voices are reshaping the landscape of contemporary electronic music. Two acts, moving across different states: one grounded in weight, control and a sculptural take on techno, the other driven by movement, unpredictability and a restless, meticulous sound research. Born in Rome and musically active since the mid-2000s, @dinosabatiniofficial has carved out a singular space within electronic music. His work has defined a whole sound landscape, from his early projects with Modern Heads, Dino has laid the foundation for a sound defined by hypnotic repetition and deep, immersive textures. In 2011, he founded the known @outis.music , building a refined catalog that blends mythological narratives with meticulous sound design. Multidisciplinary figure @abo_abo._ is a sound artist and DJ who has blended fast techno, electroacoustic textures, and modular improvisation since 2015. With an academic background in Sound Design, his work ranges from immersive spatial installations to high-energy sets across international clubs and festivals. A central figure in the underground scene, he is a member of the @de__rio collective and co-founder of @sinestesie_ . Opening and closing are in the hands of resident DJs @gabsphere and @lucascarpa7 , both operating in a deep, immersive range, one building with heavy, sustained grooves and slow development, the other moving through quicker changes in rhythm, texture and direction. Inside the Caveau, @giuseppe__lo_cascio_ presents “Piles (Or The Privilege Of Building Them Identically)”, curated by @bbmonteleone and @quarta2445 . The installation features a minimalistic landscape of mounds, exploring the utopian goal of perfectly reproducing an archetypal gesture, one like depositing matter on the ground, as an ideal form. Visual installation curated by @giovanni.lo.castro and @marcellowzy . 23:00 - 08:00 Access reserved for members only. Membership requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. “Anime Senza Bussola” Presented by Giulia Zichella and Nicolò Rusca 35mm film, film developing, printing. Now part of the Caveau collection, “Anime Senza Bussola” (ASB) is an independent editorial project born from the underground. It reclaims the act of “losing one’s way” as a catalyst for self discovery and a new way of inhabiting space. At @circoloamelia , artist Giulia and anthropologist Nicolò transformed the venue into a live photographic darkroom. More than a performance, it was an immersive sensory flow where sound, light, and collective presence interacted with the photographic process, capturing the moment the visible emerges from the invisible. His musical output includes a monumental 18-track album released on @omenwapta , alongside a growing catalogue of work across various forward thinking labels. Each performance becomes a space listeners can enter, wander through, and interpret in their own way, a journey through the architecture of his mind. Pianeti Sintetici (IT) Under the moniker of @pianetisintetici , Davide Perrone, who is also known for his earlier work as Primal Code, his fascination with pulsating, sci-fi infused musical narratives takes finally a complete form, leading to a series of notable releases on @hypnusrecords and other respected labels. GK01 Painting act I: “All The Tears Capitalism Made Me Cry” Letters of paint on canvas Performers T.Faiman, C.Nani Duration 40’ A visual interpretation by Alessandro Lampa and Mattia Baleani GK01 maps the frantic exhaustion of a life tethered to data centers and algorithmic worship. Their manifesto uses repetitive glyphs and shifting identities to mirror our modern struggle for presence, through their self-titled “slowcore” artistic approach GK01 portraits the raw burnout of trying to keep pace with a relentless digital flow. ‘All The Tears Capitalism Makes Me Cry’ is an act that mirrors our daily fight for presence in a world where likes are prayers and symbols are constantly shouted out only to be erased.
