I’ve noticed a few new faces here lately, so I thought it was time for a proper re-introduction! I’m Katie - the founder and creative behind Altar Socials and many wedding memories 🤍 This photo is a pretty accurate glimpse into what a wedding day looks like for me — a camera (or five) in hand, moving quietly through the day capturing moments as they naturally unfold. The big ones, of course, but also the soft, fleeting in-between moments that often become the most meaningful to my couples. During the week I’m a full-time photographer and the owner of a content and social media agency. On weekends (and the occasional weekday), you’ll usually find me immersed in love stories, documenting wedding days exactly as they felt. After 8 years in the fashion and marketing industries, storytelling through visuals has always been at the heart of what I do. One of the most beautiful surprises of this work has been the people, it’s not uncommon that I walk away from weddings with new friends I stay in touch with long after the day is over.
