I present to you Cours Pour La Mode, a 3D fashion film created by me for my thesis project. It’s a view on today’s ongoing race to be the best at dressing and how hierarchical the fashion industry is, with always someone looking at you in a challenging way to win the imaginary position of “better dressed” or “more authentic” when we might even be blind to the idea of a whole other ladder of people looking at us from above and whose approval we are trying to subconsciously please.
But aside from that it’s also a cute lil pretty video so I hope you enjoy watching it! So many hours of work were poured into it, so many details and so much “artisanal” work as I like to call it even tho it’s all made through a screen.
And last but not least dream sound design by @lafrancesssa kisinó?! molt agraïda de treballar amb tu, el teu work ha completat l’obra perfectament 🤍
Rendered with Arnold using Houdini. Everything was modelled by me in Maya and zBrush. Garments created in Marvelous and simulated in Houdini with vellum, as well as hair, chains, accessories and shoes. Textured in Substance Painter. Comped in Nuke.
