Welcome to Barra
An island full of moss, sheep, orchids and lovely people, this place is spectacular, even on the most dreary of days. Seaspray and wind slowly pick away at everything here, grinding down sturdy houses into lonely bricks, cars rust on the side which faces the ocean and trees don't grow too tall, or at all. The sheep seem happy though.
Shot on my fuji with the 16mm
I took this photo in Guatapé, which is a weird part of Colombia where a dam was built that flooded a massive area of farmland. The water is incredibly stagnant so naturally there are a lot of mosquitoes. Taken at sparrows fart, just as the morning fog was starting to burn off.
On our way to the little known natural spring campsite at the base of Ngāuruhoe a few years ago, shot on my Yashica 635 medium format camera, which barely survived the trip.
