𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
It's a grief space for BIPOC and Mixed-Race folx to feel all our feels (even and especially the gnarly ones).
The world's on fire (the world's BEEN on fire) and it's a lot to be alive in these here times. We don't have enough spaces to be honest about that. Let’s rage and grieve and sing together.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗼?
There will be lots of options! Everything is an invitation; you get to decide what to explore. We'll have a gentle opening and closing circle, and in between there'll be ways for you to sing, make art, move your body, write letters to the ancestors, wail, cry, cuddle up, yell, stomp, curl up in a ball, and practice being with your feelings.
𝗪𝗵𝗼'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀?
This exploration is hosted by
@alsadaactor Alsa Bruno (BLACK PEOPLE WIN) and GOOD TROUBLE (aka Liz Digitale Anderson and Conie Borchardt).
We're very excited that
@songtaneous Sarah M. Greer of Songtaneous is going to guide us in exploring our grief with our voices.
We'd love to turn this into a series 👀 if you're interested in collaborating, let us know!
