Please join us in lending a helping hand as we come together to rebuild Ms. Liza’s and the East End community garden. This space means so much to our neighborhood, and after being overdue for some love and care, it’s time for us as a community to pour back into it together. At BBFW, we believe real change happens when people come together side by side, not just with words, but with action. This rebuild is about more than garden beds; it’s about restoring pride, creating beauty, building unity, and showing our community that we are willing to invest in each other and in the future of our neighborhoods. No matter how long you can stay, every helping hand matters and every person makes a difference. Together, we can continue to grow something positive for the East End and for Bridgeport as a whole. Thank you all so much for the continued love, support, and commitment to building a stronger community together. 🌱💙

Momentum matters; and so does showing up for every part of our city. Please come join us as we continue working together to clean up and connect our neighborhoods here in Bridgeport. It doesn’t matter what side of town you’re from when one neighborhood improves, our whole city moves forward together. This time we’ll be out in the Bond Street area, including that notorious back alley, rolling up our sleeves and doing the work side by side. Pride in our city starts with action, consistency, and community. It also starts with us the community. Build Bridgeport From Within Inc. is proud to come out and support this effort, and we encourage everyone to stop by, lend a hand, meet your neighbors, and help keep this positive momentum going. Together, we build a better Bridgeport. We hope to see you there. @highlight #followers #LoveYouBridgeport

What a beautiful day for the East End 💙 Our Community Clean Up and Mt. Growmore Paint Project was an incredible success; and it’s all because of YOU. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who showed up and showed love. To our friends, family, and our Blessed Sacrament family. Your support means everything. To the organizations, local businesses, unions, and elected officials who stood with us, donated, and put in the work; we truly appreciate you. But most importantly, thank you to the community. You showed what’s possible when we come together with pride, purpose, and care for one another. You proved that we are here, we care, and together, we can accomplish anything. This is what unity looks like. This is where our real power lies. Let’s keep building, together. 🙌 💙💙💙

I am deeply honored and humbled to thank Carpenters Union Local 326 of Connecticut for presenting me with the first-ever COMMUNITY BUSINESS AGENT Award at this year’s Christmas party; an unforgettable night with an incredible group of people. This is truly one of the highest honors of my life. I will spend the rest of my life fighting to create the same kinds of opportunities that were given to me—so that every person in Bridgeport and across Connecticut has a real shot at a better life. I believe that with the right support, training, and belief, anyone can make it. I can never repay what the Carpenters Union has invested in me. From an administration that kept its word and showed up for the City of Bridgeport when called upon; to a continued commitment to opening doors for residents who want to join the trades and build a future with their hands and their skills. Thank you President Miguel our organizers and business agents. A special thank you to our apprenticeship department; Administrator Jessica, Coordinator Dave, and every instructor who poured time into me and pours time, knowledge, and passion into anyone willing to learn. You don’t just teach a trade; you change lives. And most importantly, thank you to the membership. The men and women who wake up every day; rain, cold, heat, or obstacles; and go out into the world to build our communities. You don’t complain. You don’t quit. You don’t just build structures;you build people. You mentor the next generation to be skilled, disciplined, and proud of who they are. You are our greatest asset. So many of you poured into me without ever asking for a thing; only expecting me to be great and to pass it on. That lesson will stay with me forever. Our legacy of fighting for workers’ rights and dignity in this country will live on through each generation that follows. This award belongs to everyone who helped me become who I was always meant to be. Thank you. I love you all. And I’m already looking forward to next year. It was an honor to attend this year's CT Dem John Bailey dinner. Where, I met a great man and the newest Governor of Kentucky Andy Beshear. Who swept his Republican opponent in a deep red state. He gives us all hope that good people can win even against the impossible. He was so inspiring and truly cares for the working class people of this country and his state. It was a pleasure to be in the building. I also want to thank Carpenters Union/local 326 of CT for allowing me to attend. It's such a blessing to be a part of such an amazing organization. That cares and invests so much into its membership. I thank God every day.
