Day 1 of trans varaita was good fun even if it took all day to get into racing mode.
Started with the prologue then stage 1 and finishing of with a night stage on the same trail as the prologue.

Friends in France 🇫🇷
We managed to squeeze in a trip to France in our busy lifes. Our first stop was La Grave which has definitely some of the most gnarly trails ever.
After couple of days we went to the beautiful Queyras area for some pedalling. When somebody wants to give me some money, I‘d love to buy a little house here.
The region is the best mixture of long alpine trails in the most calming environment. And again my french soul was glowing with all the pains au chocolat, eclairs à la vanille, crunchy baguette and cheeeese. Vive la France. Vive la Friendship.
