More neck progress for you lovely folks to check out! :) this one is a three piece Wenge 6 string bass neck with jumbo stainless steel frets, Luminlay inlays and a flamed maple headstock cap that will eventually be stained blue. We’d love to know your thoughts on this one!! The majority of you lovely folks who saw this earlier wanted to stick with the weathered vibes so here you go :) it was originally intended to be a clean black finish with gold anodised guard but i prefer how it’s turned out. Kinda reminds me of something from the 50s that’s been modded over the years. It has an insane @turner.pickups Gordo Duo + a lovely set of flatwounds so it’s feeling and sounding super smooth
In a world full of fake / AI shite I thought i’d share something a little more real. Here’s something that went wrong! The finish reacted with something and went all weird! Thought we’d have some fun with it before stripping it and re spraying. Looks like it’s had a hard life hahah!
