I love this music video. It’s not only a visual contrast to my song Soulless Endeavors (which is about everything being overdeveloped, cheap & soulless), but it’s also a little time capsule of the hills behind our house (which have been sold to a development company), our dogs, and even the lushness of spring, which withered to brown during the March heatwave just days after filming this. The simple natural things around us are precious & Mackenzie has captured it so beautifully.
