Soul Kaleidoscope - A Channelled Performance 🎵✨ Last year, on the day of the Pisces lunar eclipse (26/09), I held my first entirely channelled performance for the @catalyst_community_ art exhibition, officially premiering as an artist. A portal was opened this day and while the video material was kept guarded for some time (I was afraid to show this to the world, for fear of judgement and because it is truly raw and honest), it’s time to release it now. Because what transpired that day, on that stage, with my dear brother @felixfoenix , changed my life forever. Together, we created a journey of purest emotions. An offering to our ancestors, to our people, to ourselves. NO SCRIPT. NO REHEARSAL. JUST A MUSICAL LANDSCAPE and 2 hours of channeling this soul’s story in all forms of expression (song, spoken word, dance, etc.) It made me realize that this journey of 7 years was only the beginning. That life is only starting for me now. That artistry and expression is where my soul comes alive and it doesn’t ever want to live without this! 🥹 And that art has the capacity to touch our hearts and heal our wounds, sometimes quicker than any meditation or healing session ever could. So, my dearest humans, I hope this performance recap moves something in you and I pray you hold it with gentleness, as it is truly a piece of my soul, captured in time 🙏🏻 Unfortunately, only the 1st part of the performance was captured on video, so the intensity of the 2nd half will need to be imagined!
