@nimh.berlin is back at Heideglühen for our longest Heide Takeover to date. We will be opening our doors at 2 p.m. this time and hope to spend the sunny afternoon with as many of you as possible on the outdoor floor ☀️ Once again, we have a few surprises and highlights planned for the lineup.

@nimh.berlin is back for a last Heide Takeover in 2025. After our summer edition earlier this year, we’re excited to return to our favorite venue in town one last time before going into a small winter break ❄️ Expect cozy winter vibes and our classic NIMH house sound to heat up the dancefloor!

time for another podcast story: Almost Famous is a Berlin-based DJ known for his deep love of house music and vinyl. As a resident for Not In My House and Grooveriding, he’s played at venues across Germany and performed at several festivals.
A true fan of classic house, Almost Famous has a particular fondness for the sounds of Chicago and Detroit house from the ‘90s. Influenced by the raw, soulful vibes of that era, his sets often incorporate timeless tracks that pay homage to the pioneers of the genre. His love for the roots of house music shapes his style, blending the old with the new to create a distinctive and powerful sound.

Playing @feelfestival with the @nimh.berlin crew is always one of the highlights of the summer.
This year also marked the third year in a row for @groovyjuri and I playing b2b at the festival and it has always been a real pleasure sharing the decks together and bringing joy to the people with our music selection 🎵 🍾
This one was particularly special as for the first time we packed our record bags and took the challenges of playing vinyl b2b throughout the most parts of the set. Of course it doesn’t come without challenges, shaky decks, loads of dust and sometimes a little too much excitement. But all the obstacles also keep it authentic and is part of the experience when playing records.

2025 has been fun so far as I’m starting the new year with a bit of a break to recharge and relax in Spain and Portugal. So far I’m really enjoying escaping cold and grey Berlin while chasing the sun in the south of Europe. I’m spending most of my time drinking coffee, digging records, taking photos and hopefully catching a wave or two later this month. However I’m also looking forward to being back in Berlin in mid February. I’ll return with a full bag of new records, a ton of energy. I’ll definitely be open for new bookings and adventures. So hit me up if you have anything in mind 😊 Until then expect it to be a bit more quiet around here for the next few weeks 💙☀️🌊⏸️
