• we’ve got an awesome line up of specials this month in Westfield • from peaches & cream pancakes or French toast with house made peach pie filling on top, to a savory option like the chorizo hash • one of my favorite things has always been the creativity that comes with getting to make new specials all the time and I love that each store and each chef takes a similar yet completely unique direction when it comes to new specialty dishes •
• the cup that’s making itself right at home in every corner of Beach Street Landing •
• the same coffee and pastries you know us for, alongside everyday essentials, last-minute basics, and shelves filled with small brands focused on feeling good •
• Beach Street landing is our newest location, a neighborhood coffee stop, general store, and place for the little things you forgot you needed • we’re having so much fun curating amazing brands on the shelves here • if there’s something you want to see let us know •
• @siegelmanstable x @almosthomegeneral x @newyorkornowhere • .

.
• a new york chopped cheese classic • and a vegan siegelman sandwich • coming • appreciate these two • so cool to see two visionaries who are literally changing the nyc fashion scene and branding crush it • .
.
.
•
• first day of may means new specials are here • this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while • build a menu around true coffee-focused specials, not just a syrup of the month or throwing crazy topping on drink (we’ll still do it) but really trying to let some amazing coffee around the world be the shining star • this month features two single origin • Loma Verde and Pink Bourbon chosen for their distinct flavor profiles and ability to actually shape the drink.
• the drinks we are featuring •
• Honey Cherry Kyoto (Pink Bourbon)
• Strawberry Surprise Matcha
• Loma Verde (Single Origin Espresso + Citrus).
.
.
•not as crazy - but just as creative •
• Hello Northern Liberties •
.
• we are open ! • our newest location at Beach Street Landing • a space we’re really proud of… • a classic espresso bar at its core, built around a rotating single-origin driven menu, homemade syrups, and some really fun, creative drinks that we’ve been working on behind the scenes • .
.
• But it’s more than just coffee. •
.
• We put together a small, curated pantry and provision shop for everyday essentials, fresh French pastries, and a space that actually feels good to sit in… with fire ass music always pumping thru Sonos • .
.
•!I also want to take a moment to acknowledge someone important. • My partner @camerondestefano • He moved to Philly three years ago and believed in me and this brand early on…And nothing feels better to see him take full control of the Philadelphia expansion • to build this thing the right way
from the inside out, with a real team, real culture, and real standards. • .
.
• There’s no one more deserving. He understands the work, the details, and what it actually takes to build something meaningful. And gets me and the values I hold important as we scale ! • .
.
.
• So with the beginning of a new chapter - We’re hiring •
We’ve got more spaces coming. • We want to grow - but grow the right way• With the right team • In the right environment •
.
• And if you’re a local florist, bakery, or food brand that cares about what you’re putting out into the world… we’d love to connect. • As we grow : we need to reset the Rolodex and begin aligning ourselves with like minded people , groups , friends in this amazing city • .

• Some people don’t actually know what you’re ordering… and that’s not your fault…. •
.
• Not a knock. Just a reality. •
.
• Somewhere along the way, the language got lost.
A macchiato became a dessert.
A cappuccino became a 20oz cup of hot milk with foam.
And the foundation… the actual craft… got blurred into convenience and “coffee trigger words” were used by customers to possibly impress friends or bystanders while ordering… •.
.
• And I get it. Brands got big. Systems got fast. And corporate tried to make them feel more in-tune with the speciality coffee market by pushing these trigger words…
But in that speed, something important disappeared the true education. • .
.
• Because coffee, real coffee, is a language. • .
.
• A cortado isn’t just a small latte.
A cappuccino isn’t meant to stretch into a large.
A macchiato was never supposed to be caramel drizzled and layered like a milkshake. (Thanks Starbucks) • .
.
• And that’s okay if you like it that way. Seriously.
We will always make whatever the hell you want. •
But here’s the difference:
We also want you to know.
To understand what you’re drinking.
To understand why it was created that way.
To understand the balance, the ratios, the intention behind it.
Because that’s where the value is.
Coffee is subjective.
Coffee is personal.
Coffee should feel like yours.
But certain drinks… they exist for a reason.
They’ve been thought out over decades.
Perfected through repetition, culture, and craft.
You wouldn’t order a martini and ask for it in a rocks glass with ice and call it the same thing.
It’s just… not.
So as a shop, we sit in the middle of both worlds.
We’ll serve you exactly what you want.
But we’ll also take a second to teach you what it is.
Not to correct you.
Not to make you feel wrong.
But to bring you into it.
Because the more people understand coffee…
the stronger this entire community becomes.
And that’s the goal.
Not just to serve coffee.
But to build people who actually appreciate it. And my job as the leader of Almost Home is to make sure we are a safe space for you to ask questions ; not be embarrassed ; and leave happy :)!
So have a question ; let’s talk about it people !
• most coffee shops just take orders ; we remember it • that’s the difference • glad to have made sure my buddy Nick got his wife the exact coffee she wanted (whether he knew her order or not) •
• and as funny as this is ; which it is. This is the difference that I talk about • going the extra mile ; creating connection ; legit joining the family • when my barista told me (that’s not his wife’s order should I tell him) • it literally made my day • that’s hospitality • that’s customer service • that’s moving the needle • that’s culture •
• We’ll always have your back (and hers) •
• super excited to announce a new location and new partner • Almost Home has the opportunity to run the new coffee shop at the Inkwell • as someone who grew up on visiting the Inkwell at night and getting disco fries , the dutch coffee , and other late night bites it’s a true honor to build a cafe while honoring the nostalgia that place holds in many locals hearts •.
.
. • with this new location super excited to announce my new partner @chelseanye who has worked her ass off for the brand these past few years • as someone who believes in constant vertical movement for my staff ; I truly believe true growth comes from within and giving the opportunity to my team to begin to see what real ownership is a huge thing . • I think this is the first of many partnerships with current employees and I’m excited • but as for the coffee shop itself • .
.
• the decor is retro deco , but the coffee shop will be high end espresso bar with all homemade syrups , compotes and rotating single origins • all fresh french pastries ; fresh juices ; blonde shallot salads and grab and go meals • and an insane vibe • more to come and showcase but excited for this journey to start • and don’t you worry the dutch coffee, griddled pound cake , chicken salad, celery and peanut butter will all be available to keep the tradition alive • with also bringing back late night poetry reads ! • .

Five years ago, a dream took root while I was traveling and chasing inspiration through some of the best coffee shops in the world. What started as a vision (which I convinced my best friend to believe in) turned into something real: a belief that coffee, hospitality, and genuine human connection could build a community. I believed then and I believe now that if you put people first, focus on experience, and truly care, something special can grow.
The last five years haven’t been easy. There were zoning battles, growing pains, long nights, and constant lessons in leadership and scaling (I’m not perfect and still am not). But through all of it, there’s been something bigger….waking up every day and realizing I get to build something I actually love. From pop-ups events, run clubs, and charity events… to working with incredible local chefs, showcasing coffees from farms around the world, and building a team of some of the most driven people I know. I’m humbled by the journey. We’ve built more than a business… we’ve built a community.
I’m beyond grateful for every partner, employee, mentor, friend, and family member who believed in this vision sometimes before it even made sense. Because the truth is, as entrepreneurs, we’re “crazy” until it works… and then suddenly we’re “lucky”… What people don’t see are the risks, the pressure, the doubt, and the relentless belief it takes to keep going when nothing is guaranteed.
So yes celebrate the wins. You have to. But never forget… those wins don’t happen alone. They are built on the backs of people who supported you, believed in you, and stood next to you when things weren’t clear yet. (And there’s a core group who I couldn’t of done any of this without)
We’ve only scratched the surface of what Almost Home can become. The next five years are about going deeper: more connection, more creativity, more impact, and continuing to prove that great food and great coffee can live in the same space, powered by real hospitality.
To anyone out there chasing something if you give it everything you have, people will feel it. They will see it. And the right ones will believe in you. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
