Definitely not the piece I’m the most proud of visually, but, this technique is challenging!
1. because I judge the outcome aesthetically and I need to reprogram my mind not to do that.
2. I have to become aware of my speed. I catch myself going too fast. It makes feel the discomfort of slowing down to be conscious about every single line and brush done.
I’m super used to work digitally, where speed is queen and being a naturally anxious impatient type of person, this really puts me back in the present.
There is a method to follow so it’s not pure visual anarchy. Before starting the session, it is required to visualise a purpose, a challenge or a negative event that is happening in life. It is a process that involves drawing, rounding sharp corners, and adding color to transform internal, often negative, feelings into a calm, visual format.
So why am I doing this? Firstly to explore and experiment, but also to calm down rumination on my mind, specially on this particular period of my life, where I’m under challenges and confronted against my limiting beliefs.
Sometimes I wish I was the type of person who would be happy staying the same and doing the same over and over, but self knowledge has been an interest of mine since my teenage years. So here I am now, living in different countries, learning new languages, different professions. Creating the life I want.

Hoy el pueblo que me parió cumple 100 años. Hace un par de años, en un viaje por los lagos, pensaba en el privilegio de haber nacido en el Sur. De tener esa inmensidad de bosques y la suerte de saber cuál es mi hogar en el mundo. Me imaginaba el futuro ya de vieja, y poder siempre sentir ese abrazo verde. Aquella imagen a futuro me ha dado mucha paz y la motivación para vivir la vida que hoy vivo. Hoy sé que esa imagen ya no será como la imaginé.
El año que naci, cuentan mis viejos, se vivio el peor incendio en la comarca. Meses de fuego, hasta que llego la lluvia en Marzo.
Creci con esa pesadilla latente y con el monstruo del fuego. Sabiendo de la vulnerabilidad de nuestro lugar y del riesgo continuo.
Hoy esa pesadilla es realidad. Hemos llegado a otro periodo oscuro de la humanidad. Jamás podré entender quién es capaz de tanto daño. Lo único certero es que ese daño, es alimento para luchar contra quien sea, cuidarnos y levantarnos mutuamente. Como las malezas de Gabo Ferro. Fotos Mix de la comarca 2025. Our natural patrimony needs our help. Patagonia is burning. This week the Fires have destroyed 2000 hectares in 5 days, homes, animals, farms. Since december there is another fire at Parque Los Alerces, today there is a 2400 years old tree at risk just 5kms away from the fire. These fires are intentional and human made. Patagonia is suffering from Ecocide and the liberal economy of its current government aka raw capitalism. The firefighters are not enough. The state looking elsewhere. The community has organised itself, they created groups of volunteers to fight the fires and protect their territory, our territory. They are running out of tools, working material, petrol, shoes etc. Any small donations will make a difference. DM me and i’ll send you where to send the donations. The community and the forest will be thankfull ♥️
