Happy 18th birthday to this amazing girl of ours! Cannot believe college is on the horizon and we’ve made it to this milestone moment. It feels like yesterday we were making slime and dancing around the kitchen (oh wait we still do that;). Last weekend we very suddenly lost our beautiful, loving, grumpy, silly, obnoxious, food stealing cat Maple Rose Woolf. Named in the way we Manning-Weavers name our crew of furry friends (by pulling each family members’ submitted name out of hat), we adopted her in the great ‘Bunny/Kitten trade’ at Brick Church School during a visit in India’s 3’s class with Mr. Bedard. She was beloved by most in our family😉a friend to Percival and Hattie, and maybe not always the nicest to Slinky Maliniki 🐈⬛. I acted as her dula when she gave birth to 6 adorable kittens in our closet and helped her keep those furballs going until we adopted them to friends and family around the Northeast. She was sometimes a bully, but loved all 4 of her human kids so hard, finding a warm place on all of their beds during story time and bedtimes, and purring so loudly I would sometimes have to kick her out for fear of waking the littles. We all miss her (even @amw4477 in her own way:) and will remember all the snuggles as well as the scratches and the swipes. #maplerosewoolf
