It’s the “BIG” 3-0!
As I look back on the past three decades of my life, I’m filled with so much gratitude. Thirty years of life, lessons, and love. Thirty years of growth, pain, and triumph.
I think about the laughter, tears and the memories. And through it all, God has been very faithful.
As I begin the 3rd floor chapter, I’m reminded of the powerful women in thw bible, women like Deborah, Esther, and Ruth, who showed me what it means to be brave, resilient, and faithful.
And so, I pray for myself, that I would continue to walk in the blessings of God. That I would be a woman of courage, wisdom, and compassion.
Numbers 6:24-26 says:
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
I receive this blessing, and I pray that everyone who has celebrated with me would be blessed as well.

Where do I even begin?
In 2024, when I joined the Zapphaire Event Planning training, out of all the facilitators, you were the only one I walked up to. You taught “Themed Events,” and I remember sitting there thinking, “This woman is different.” Your creativity, your depth, your presence, it was undeniable. I told you I wanted to learn under you, and you simply said, “Send me a message.”
I did.
And for two months… nothing 😅
But then one day, you texted me: “If you’re free, we have a setup. Come.”
And truly, the rest is history.
But beyond that, you are a giver, a teacher, a mentor, a sister, and a leader who shapes people quietly but powerfully.
You pushed me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. Because of you, I found the confidence to step out again, especially with my content. You gave me the ginger to return to TikTok, to show up, to believe in my creative voice.
And then… Montenegro 🇲🇪
An opportunity I will never forget. You didn’t just give me work you gave me exposure to the international event space. That alone is something I will always hold close to my heart.
You have this “first daughter” energy, always looking out for people, but somehow pretending like you’re not 😂

From your love for olive green (honestly, I’m convinced you own everything in that color 😄) to your signature Afro, your boubous, your sneakers, even wearing sneakers with your wedding gown (iconic behavior only) you are truly one of one.
When I count my blessings from 2024 till now, I count you. In fact, in the event space, I count you twice.
On your 40th birthday, I pray that God crowns all your efforts with even greater success. May your creativity never run dry. May doors open for you globally. May everything you’ve poured into others return to you in abundance.

Today, my heart is full
Happy 40th birthday to the man God blessed me with. My friend, my encourager, my number-one supporter, my partner in laughter, growth, and prayer. I’m so grateful for your life. You understand me in ways I can’t explain, you love me deeply, you carry me when I’m overwhelmed, and you still make room for joy, jokes, and play. Sometimes I feel like we need a playground in our house because of the way we laugh and play together.
Turning 40 is not the end of your youth, it is the beginning of a deeper, wiser and joyful season. I’m honestly more excited than you are, because I know God is just getting started with you.
Dear Lord thank you for the gift of your son Dami. Thank you for the journey that has brought him to 40, and for the many years ahead.
Lord, let Your plans manifest beautifully over his life. Bless his mind with wisdom and clarity. Bless his hands with success in all he does. Strengthen his body with health and energy. Fill his heart with peace, joy, and faith.
Father, increase him on every side; spiritually, emotionally, financially, and in purpose.
Surround him with favor. Open doors that no one can shut.
Let you love anchor him, and let your Spirit guide his steps.
Thank You for the gift of 40 years.
Thank You for the many more years to come, that’ll be better, brighter, and deeper than we can imagine.
