Hard to sum up SEVEN years at Schubas, Lincoln Hall, & Audiotree. I made so many good friends and memories throughout that time.
I vividly remember my first day as Digital Content Manager was the last Murphy’s Hot Dogs pop-up at Schubas in May 2019. I celebrated my first week of work seeing Doja Cat at Lincoln Hall (500 cap btw). I celebrated my first month seeing Faye Webster at Schubas (215 cap btw). I’ve seen so many incredible bands at both venues it would be so hard to list even the half of them. I remember when I was offered the Assistant Talent Buyer position and being over the moon! I celebrated by seeing Magdalena Bay & Cecile Believe at Lincoln Hall that night. It was so exciting to book the “100% Off” local shows with my friends and acquaintances in the music community. I made a lot of friends that way.
Once I moved over to Audiotree at Program Manager, I was on a roll booking bands from all over the world… Singapore, Ireland, Brazil, you name it. All in all, I booked around 560 productions from 2022-2026. I booked the first theremin player, the first vocoder player, the first Drag Queen, probably the first Gen Z artist, all that hardcore and shoegaze y’all love, all the Far Out bands, everything! I even spearheaded a Chicago-centered series “Chicago Selects”, not only to keep Chicago on the music map, but to help local bands grow their audiences and get their music in front of managers, labels, agents, etc. We were averaging 100k new subscribers a year and we had just hit 1mil YouTube subscribers in the new year. We had a great run. I’m looking forward to what’s next for not only me, but also for all my insanely talented coworkers. If you need a highly skilled audio engineer, videographer, graphic designer, marketing manager, video editor, interviewer etc. lmk… I know a ton.

I started making this blanket the day after my sister and her husband told me they are having a baby(!) and when I was halfway through the process of making it (in secrecy) she told me she was planning on making the baby’s room animal themed 🥲 so excited to be Auntie Ally 🦁 🐯 🐻
🧶 I’m coming up on a year of crocheting and if you’re interested in crocheting/knitting I highly suggest using the website Ravelry.com as a resource. I found it helpful to compare my work to others and make notes on the step by step process. Ok byeee onto the next project
rest in peace to my little Rocco. He used to really love laying in the sun and staring at the moon and walking in circles around the house with a toy in his mouth and rearranging his dog beds and sitting upright in my moms arms and hiding his toys and treats from his twin brother in the garden. Had to put him down this morning cuz the tumor in his sinuses and the tumor in his throat were not making his life very enjoyable.He would’ve been 12 next week but he’s much more comfortable in heaven now 👼
