✨ We’ve grown, but our mission remains the same: to protect childhood from sex trafficking and exploitation. When Ally began in 2019, our focus was on providing safe housing for survivors of trafficking in Nepal.  But from day one, we knew we needed to do more. If you had taken a look at our 3-year strategic plan back in those early days, you would have seen items like: Help stabilize the project in Nepal. Conduct research in Canada to learn how we can best help here at home. Build our capacity so that we can support work in Cambodia. As we listened, learned and grew, we began to see the areas and programs where we might be able to make the greatest contribution. So much has happened since those first days of Ally. We added a local partner in Cambodia, launched an Indigenous-led program here in Canada, co-created a suite of prevention education resources that are being used worldwide, and are actively engaging in several research projects. To reflect this growth, we’ve refreshed how we talk about our work—and we’re excited to share it with you on our new website! Childhood is priceless.  Thank you for helping us keep it that way. Monthly giving is more than a routine. It’s a decision about the kind of impact you want to have. A decision to show up before it’s urgent. To be part of something that doesn’t disappear when attention fades. The Refuge is a community built on that kind of commitment. Quiet, steady, and consistent. Join The Refuge and be part of what stays. 💛 Learn more: Link in Bio! #ProtectChildhood #TheRefuge

Healing isn’t a single step; it’s a journey that requires the highest level of care for every child in our safe homes. While safety and community provide the foundation, professional counselling and trauma-informed care are essential pillars of long-term recovery. In Nepal, our Counselling Centre serves as a vital sanctuary where survivors can process, heal, and begin again. Professional care is a cornerstone of the protection we provide. Monthly givers don’t just respond to urgent need. They help sustain the systems that prevent it. They make sure care doesn’t stop between crises. They make sure trusted local leaders aren’t left without support. That kind of generosity doesn’t draw attention to itself. But it changes lives. Join our monthly giving community - The Refuge. Many people picture generosity as something grand or distant. But the kind that protects children often looks quieter. It looks like prevention programs running every month. Safe care staying open without interruption. Local partners knowing help will be there tomorrow, not just today. Monthly giving turns care into consistency. It turns concern into protection that lasts. That’s what The Refuge exists to do. Join the Refuge today: /therefuge Link in Bio!
