We’re still recovering from what was one of the most fantastic nights in our 10 year lifespan as a band. A packed @tivolivredenburg full of lovely people off stage as well as on stage. Surrounded by friends, family and fans from all over the continent, the whole day felt like a warm bath.

NEW NAMES for A DECADE OF DOOL!
We're thrilled to present to you the final line up of our 10 year anniversary festival main programme. Our Austrian friends @harakiriforthesky_official will join the celebration with an atmospheric black metal set. Next to that, Brabant's @gottband is set to cast a dark spell over the festivities. What a way to start this year's holiday season!

2 years ago we entered the studio to record ‘The Shape of Fluidity’ under the magnificent guidance of Magnus Lindberg (@mlprod_vrtkl ). Set in @daftmusicstudios beautiful environment in the Belgian Ardennes, we plunged deep into the songs’ themes and were able to let intuition and creativity flow freely. The result exceeded all of our expectations, and we are still ever so fond of this sonic gem and all the songs, sounds and melodies which it contains.
Next month, on December 21st, we celebrate our 10 year anniversary at @tivolivredenburg Utrecht, with tons of befriended bands and of course a set of our own which will definitely feature songs from The Shape of Fluidity…

Ostatni raz pojawili się u nas w 2018 roku i od tamtego czasu rozwinęli się w jeden najbardziej charakterystycznych zespołów nowej fali dark rocka. Jednakże próba zaszufladkowania muzyki tej wyjątkowej formacji jest nader trudna, są tam elementy gothic-popu, psych-metalu i hard rocka, ale kto by się tym przejmował gdy to dynamika i kult chwytliwego riffu robią swoje.
Ich ostatni album “The Shape Of Fluidity” wybił zespół na wyżyny popularności wśród ludzi świadomie słuchających muzyki. W planach jest już kolejny album, więc miejmy nadzieję na sceniczne premiery podczas Summer Dying Loud!

The Dutch band Dool will be making a return to the SDL scene after several years! They last appeared here in 2018 and have since developed into one of the most distinctive bands of the new wave of dark rock. However, trying to pigeonhole this unique band’s music is incredibly difficult. It contains elements of gothic pop, psych metal, and hard rock, but who cares when the dynamics and cult of catchy riffs do the job.
Their latest album, „The Shape of Fluidity,” catapulted the band to heights of popularity among discerning listeners. A new album is already in the works, so let’s hope for a stage premiere during Summer Dying Loud!
