The was the first poem I wrote after reactivating/ reviving my instagram account after a few years.
I was inspired to write again after watching my friends share poetry at my church’s carol service, I am so thankful for being re-inspired and passionate about pursuing writing.
Thank you for following me on this journey, thank you for engaging through views, saves, likes, shares, reposts, and comments.
I’m so thankful to God for birthing this desire within me, Lord your will be done, Your kingdom come and may I continue to be inspired always, for everything I create comes from You.

My Poetry
My first Poem came,
from a place of pain,
an endless storm,
no bow to rain,
eventually,
I smiled again,
My tears ran out,
all down the drain.

not ready,
but will he ever be?
Sometimes it takes a woman,
one to make him see.
Let love in again she says!
He handed her the key,
and so their love began to grow,
just like a planted tree.

Hungry for
some steak, “Sunday roast, is what we’ll make” I didnt’ want a roast,
my apetite was now at stake,
“I can taste the juices”
so I start to salivate,
its’ funny what I crave
around the time I ovulate.
I landed in this pub
on churchfield road,
called The Station,
where steak was with a roast,
not like on googles’ explanation.
Theres no harm in asking,
so I asked with hesitation.
They made it just for me,
off the menu - steak creation.
Everything I hoped for,
like tasting my i-m-a-g-i-n-a-t-i-o-n,
The steak was juicy, chips were fluffy,
like I’m on vacation.
Seek and you will find -
and what I found was at The Station.
asked and knocked for Sunday steak,
this was my application.
This poem was inspired by my craving for steak, peppercorn sauce and chips combined with the satisfaction of the meal tasting exactly how I hoped and imagined it would. 🤤😋🥩

She was young and beautiful,
the daughter of a king,
a virgin, untouched,
a song worth the sing.
She had two brothers,
one full and one half,
both had different mothers
raised on different paths.
He fell in love that was lust,
with his own little sister,
so desperate for her love,
No Mrs, to his Mr…..
This is Part 1 of Poetic Story that was inspired by a true story in the bible about a young girl called Tamar who was SA.
Although April was SA Awareness month, I feel it is something to be aware of every month of the year. In England & Wales alone 209,000 s*xual offences including SA were reported in 2025, with the number of unreported cases being extremely higher. I dread to think of the number of repoeted/ unreported SA cases globally.
I just pray this world becomes a safer place, for women, men and children.

I wrote down this scripture the other day and read it out loud and burst into tears whilst reading as my heart became overwhelmed with the words that came to life for me in this season.
It felt as though God was embracing me in his arms through thesw words and I cried like a baby.
This is His living word, and it was like the words I read were increasing my faith and trust in God and reminding me that despite what I see or feel, He is with me through it all.
God cares and loves so deeply, he bends to listen to our prayers, he protects, he gives happiness as you give yourself to Him, He hears and has heard your urgent cries and will always be there when you call on Him.
