🥹 Meet Ms. Jacqueline Denise Wright, the muse behind our brand, StART Over Wright, who lived a life that embodied the brand’s philosophy. Though health challenges marked her later years, Jacqueline’s spirit remained unbroken.
In her final days, Jacqueline’s daughter, Ryan Wright, the founder of StART Over Wright, had the privilege of witnessing her mother’s childlike wonder. Ms. JDW’s approach to life, she was met with a sense of awe and curiosity reminiscent of a toddler discovering the world for the first time.
As we age, we often find ourselves returning to the beginning, rediscovering the world with fresh eyes, just as we did in childhood. We become appreciative of the little things, fascinated by the beauty of nature and grateful for the simplicity of life.
This is the essence of StART Over Wright– embracing the opportunity to rediscover ourselves, Relearn, Rebuild, and Restart. It’s a reminder that no matter what challenges we face or how old we get, we always have the right to start anew.

I planned and executed my very first micro-wedding this year 🫶🏾
While I’ve had the honor of serving many bridal clients over the years, this one was extra special. I was able to step beyond hair and help bring my client’s ceremony and intimate reception dinner to life from start to finish.
I even brought in my sister to assist with makeup and beauty services so my bride felt fully supported and absolutely radiant on her special day.
This experience reminded me that when you truly care, your work naturally expands beyond the chair.
