As All Things Fresno continues to grow, I’ve taken time to realign my pricing with the work, energy, and vision behind it. This platform has always been about showing up for the community in a real way. That doesn’t change. What’s changing is making sure the work is sustainable so I can keep doing it well. I’m grateful for everyone who’s trusted me to tell their stories and be part of their events. New pricing is now live. Inquiries are open. "For the culture. For the people. For the love of Fresno." #FresnoEvents #FresnoArtists #FresnoCreatives #SupportLocalFresno #Fresno559

🎤 Hey friends, I’m Nisha—an educator born and raised in Fresno. I am the face behind the community and culture page All Things Fresno. I’m a community curator showing love to all things Fresno by highlighting artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who make this city what it is. From organizing local events and hosting shows, to helping new organizers find venues, collaborators, and resources—I’m here to build with and for community. I recap what’s happening around town and uplift the work of other curators and creators. Community work means creating spaces where voices are heard, culture is honored, and connections are built. Community work is rooted in love and accountability. It’s about building trust, holding space, and making sure the work reflects the community it serves. True community work uplifts, collaborates, and ensures that everyone—especially artists, organizers, and underrepresented voices—are supported, seen, and valued. Check out @allthingsfresno to stay up on monthly Art Hop Stops and local events. ————————————————— 🎨 My passion is also ensuring our local artists are paid, fed, and celebrated—because their work deserves more than just exposure. ⬇️ ✨ Are you a business or venue looking to bring live performances to your space—weekly or monthly? I’ve got a deep network of incredible talent ready to bless your stage. I’ll secure talent, equipment, and organize the event all you need to do is tell me what you’re looking for and I’ll make it happen! If you have any questions, DM me or send an email. ⬆️ “For people. 🎊 Hey, we hit 5,000 followers!!! 🎊 Fresno is often overlooked and underestimated and I created All Things Fresno to change that narrative. Beginning in spring of 2023, All Things Fresno has highlighted and celebrated artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders here in Fresno, California. 3 years of showing love to Fresno’s comedians, lyricists, muralists, directors, fashion designers, singers, photographers, and poets. Organizing community events, open mics, local shows, as well as hosting. Learning filming and editing to promote artists events, running community care drives, encouraging local activism, and educating Fresnans on local issues. This is more than entertainment. This is Fresno. 🔥We cannot wait for others to co-sign on Fresno. We got all that we need here!! 🔥 With 500,000 people in Fresno, if you follow ATF, you are a part of the 1%! ATF has taken on many forms and I want to thank all of you for supporting the process. Thank you Fresno friends and family for supporting and participating in the movement. Give aways coming soon! #fresno #559

Today, the mayor presented his proposed budget for the City of Fresno. In the room: community activists, concerned residents, advocates for the unhoused, and everyday people who want to see the city invest more in the neighborhoods that need it most. The mayor opened by walking through his budget blueprint. Then came an expected yet striking turn: he called Fresno residents who voiced concerns over SEDA "uninformed." Shortly after, council member Mike Karbassi doubled down, claiming that uninformed citizens are hurting West Fresno by opposing SEDA. The crowd responded with boos. Karbassi fired back: "Boo, all you want. You don't create the jobs... we do." The crowd also fired right back with a loud "YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG!" Many in attendance felt insulted by the Karbassi and let the council member hear it. [ All this on slides 1,2, & 3 ] When public comment began, residents made their priorities clear. They urged the council to let one-time grant-funded police positions lapse when the grant ends in December—and instead redirect that $1.8 million to areas of the city desperate for funding. Several speakers opposed funding the HART team, calling it dehumanizing and deeply concerning, and pushed back against further militarization of the Fresno Police Department. Alfred from the Fresno Resistance pointed out that the city could save $1.6 million simply by ending its contract with Flock—the camera system that collects far more than just license plate data. The mayor’s budget may pull Fresno out of the red. But the real question is whether the city is spending money in a way that is financially responsible, morally sound, and aligned with what Fresno’s residents actually want. ✊️✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 #Budget #Fresno #UnHoused #Deflock #NoToSEDA

Today, a powerful coalition of clergy members, community activists, bookstore owners, drag queens, members of our LGBTQ+ community, and friends of the Fresno County Public Library stood together before the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. Our message was clear: reject every attempt to muzzle or erase our community’s voices inside our public libraries, and inclusion is not indoctrination. The crowd in support of intellectual freedom, LGBTQ+ families, and our public libraries was so large that 50 people weren't able to sit in the chambers and had to wait outside. Not all members inside the chambers supported our LGBTQ+ community or the Fresno County Public Library. In fact, you can definitely say there were some haters in the room. (Slide 17) In the end, the Library was denied participation in the Pride Parade, but this battle is far from over. Libraries belong to everyone.... Our vulnerable and marginalized communities need the most support. So, let's continue to stand up for those who need it. ✊️✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 📷:@cvcommunityaction #DemanDignity #Inclusion #Community #BeBetter #Representation

☀️Hello all! Allow me to introduce @rad.rag.fresno 📝Rad Rag is a Fresno-based, womxn-led, hyperlocal street journalism collective focused on civic engagement, government accountability, and womxn’s stories, both the challenges and the celebrations. The work centers underrepresented voices and is guided by community, human rights, and intersectional feminism. 📅We held our first Rad Rag meeting, Womxn’s Roundtable at @bookish520 to ground ourselves in that vision. Mars Santos (@ironicsaintmedia ), founder and creator of @rad.rag.fresno , shared the mission and vision for the collective. We opened the floor with conversations about our interests, the stories we feel called to tell, and how we each want to contribute. We laughed, we cried (some of us), and we held space for one another. ✅Since then we have been focusing building systems, structure, and policies that reflect our values remembering to move with intention, not just momentum. 👀If you’re interested in getting involved, supporting, or staying connected visit radragfresno.com or click the link in bio @rad.rag.fresno
