I generally donāt post pictures that arenāt mine but when my son Evan shared these pictures from Japan, I was breathless and thought they were worth sharing.
This is Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki, Japan about 3 hours north of Tokyo by train. From mid-April to early May, the park is covered in Nemophila flowers, also known as Baby Blue Eyes.
I wasnāt even there and still canāt go over how beautiful they are! šŗ

AD Adventure found me in Orange Beach, Alabamaā¦ and it involved being strapped to a parasail 400 feet in the air. š³
I was absolutely terrified, but @parasailskysurfer gave us the best first experience possible. The captain and crew were calm, professional, and made us feel totally prepared before we ever left the dock.
Once we were up in the sky, the views of Gulf Shores were incredible. It was peaceful, beautiful, and just a little bit terrifying when I looked down and realized how tiny the boat was. š
Pro tip: donāt eat a big breakfast before heading out on choppy water.
Would I do it again? Honestlyā¦ 10/10, yes.
