Canadian singer-songwriter Allie X (@alliex ) performs ‘Is Anybody Out There?’ on Glamcult TV. The opening track from her 2025 alt-pop album ‘Happiness is Going to Get You’ opens with a classical touch, leaving space for her evocative vocals. Leading with the title question, the track drifts within its drum pattern, ushering in a hauntingly beautiful chorus.
Born Alexandra Hughes, Allie X reinvents her sound with each new project, backed by a strong and mesmerising visual identity. Her career spans back to 2015, earning her a devoted cult following. With textures anchored in pop, synthy electro, and soulful goth, her influences range from Kate Bush and Paul McCartney to Cocteau Twins.
