The house everyone town hall went great last month with almost 100 people showing up to discuss the housing crisis with local leaders and candidates. but we all know it’ll take a lot more than just talk to really address this issue.
Please come out for a day of direct action and help pressure the city of Little Rock to declare a housing crisis, crack down on law breaking slumlords, and invest in building affordable green housing.
If you want to help more than just showing up you should come to the ACO office this Monday from 4-7:30pm to help phone bank and get more people to come to the action.

Housing is a human right…
Around 45% of people in Little Rock are renters and Arkansas is the only state without a warrant of habitability law that protects renters from living in squalor caused by a greedy landlords.
In case you hadn’t heard there’s an election coming this November. So community members with Arkansas Community Organizations and UALR downtown have invited candidates from the every level of government up for election this year in LR & NLR to come hear testimony from citizens about the horrible conditions facing low income renters in our cities and ask them what they plan to do about the issue if they win in November.
If you believe that safe affordable housing is a human right then come out to the Ualr downtown space Tuesday August 27th. These politicians will only listen to the people when we show up in big numbers and put real pressure on them. This is super important and can especially move our local leaders whose elections are often won by just TENS of votes.
Please join us and bring with as many people as possible
