Round 2?? @jessica_verghese It was a great experience trying out Muay Thai. Of course with my ACL ruptured knee I couldn’t kick much but in that 2 hour session I learnt the basics of how to block, punch with good technique & kick a bit as well. Crossfit will always be my first love but I am always also open to learning & trying new sports. This helps me in further understanding & helping out the athletes or individuals that train with me. Muay Thai also teaches a lot of life lessons. ‘Forget & let go’ a dialogue given by the headcoach while we were practising our punch & kick techniques on the bag. His point was to make sure we always focus on what’s in front of you & not think about what’s done in the past. It taught me also that I need to improve on eye coordination & being calm mentally as well. The routines I learnt here will be definitely added to my regular training days🔥💪🏼 #muaythai #kickboxing #sparring #fitness #mentaltraining #coachlife
