Earlier this month at Framer Framed, participants joined the third 𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝐴𝑟𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑣𝑒 (𝐴𝐴𝐴) workshop, a virtual archive space and research project by Minhu Jun (
@via_minhu ) and Özgür Deniz Koldaş (
@oogzorg ). Over the course of four hours, images were edited and remixed to explore when an image stops being ‘yours’, ending with collectively designed postcards.
Inspired by the copyleft movement and the current discussions around AI and authorship, 𝐴𝐴𝐴 (
@allaccessarchive ) aims to establish an open-source archive platform that gathers works from designers and artists for them to be freely shared and accessed by others, ideally for the facilitation of new works and research.
Through its open-source and all-access approach, the archive serves not only as a repository, but also as a resource for the further critical examination of authorship and copyright. Through workshops and other public events, such as showcases, readings and open calls, 𝐴𝐴𝐴 slowly expands their archive while focusing on communal practices and mutual-aid.
