Digital distribution of the 7-inch record *Landmines and Vegetables EP*, released last year, began today.
The EP compiles four tracks that strongly express a desire for peace, starting with [ Food not bombs I ] recorded during a street performance; [ Food not bombs II ] now a staple of our live sets; [ HATE & WAR?2025 ] a completely rewritten and rearranged version of a past song; and [ I don't "you", You don't "I" ] re-recorded with our current lineup.
*Regarding Spotify, given that its CEO has invested in military companies—and while this may be indirect (though it could almost be considered direct)—we cannot tolerate the idea that the proceeds from our music would be invested in entities involved in war. Furthermore, without a clear response from Spotify regarding this fact, Arkasiruka cannot distribute our music on Spotify.
While we wish to reach as many people as possible, we ask for your understanding.
Also, this is not meant to criticize the choices made by Spotify users or musicians. Our lives are connected to society in many ways, and if we start asking, “What about this? Why is that okay?” there would be no end to it. This is simply a matter of what we personally find intolerable within our own sphere of experience, and it is merely one of the band’s own decisions. So please don’t worry about it.
