Creating this boutique from a distance was a challenging yet exciting exercise.
It was important for us to bring our vision as faithfully as possible and to bring a piece of France with us. The idea was never to build a standardized, made-to-measure industrial store, but to create it just as we did in Paris: built from vintage furniture and objects. Everything was sourced in France and Italy, then shipped to Korea. Each object tells its own story, while also carrying a part of ours.

From my student Peugeot 206, the car that helped build the dream, to the Ferrari that reminds me it was all worth it.
Every early summer, I feel a sense of joy… not just because I get to drive what I still believe is one of the most beautiful Ferrari ever made, but above all because this car has that rare ability to stop time. Just for a moment, it reminds me where I come from, something that isn’t always easy in our line of work, where the pace of daily life rarely allows us to look back.
When I dropped out of school to start Drôle de Monsieur, we used to do all the deliveries to the post office ourselves ; always with that 206. It holds the memories of the early days, the struggles, but also all the passion we put into every single order. It’s also the car that took us to Paris for our very first appearance at Fashion Week in 2014.
I kept that 206 long after I could’ve changed it. Some people around me said I should get a new car… that it wasn’t great for my image. But what mattered most to me was building the ladder that would help me climb.
Today, every time I get into this F355 GTS, turn the key, and hear that exceptional sound, I get a flashback to the early days. It instantly takes me back, and I think about the journey.
It’s not just about material success. The real achievement is being able to look back and understand that success isn’t just a destination, it’s everything it took to get there.

FW25 runway venue - We couldn’t afford a $10 million Ferrari 275 GTB competizione so we made one out of ice instead and brought it to the Intercontinental Hotel—along with an ice bar to enjoy a good Negroni. Watch the process!
