I shouldn't leave out the time our sandwiches froze and the best we could do was burn the outside while the middle remained most definitely frozen.

Now that Green Planet is no longer a big 🤫 , here's some photos of a lovely time in Lapland with Owen 'O-bone' Carter.
He took some very pretty pictures of the aurora and the frosty bits. I flew a very unhappy drone who really didn't want to fly at -30°C.

The Green Planet starts on Sunday at 7pm on BBC1 for the next 5 weeks. I was lucky to be a small part of a very talented bunch of people making the series...its taken so long that I managed to married and have 2 kids since we started filming it 😅🌾🌲🌵
