The happiest of birthdays to my sweet Gigi. 18 years have flown by in an instant. She's the reason I started A-List Artistry. Truly my "why".
Starting my own business gave me the freedom to be present for so many moments and create so many memories.
She's grown up surrounded by creative women. Going on photo and video shoots, she's helped behind the scenes. She even learned some SFX magic by creating the effect of smoke for a photoshoot using bottles of baby powder and well timed poofs of the bottles. At first her favorite form of pay was ice cream. Now it's a trip to Starbucks.
I was so lucky to meet @shavonnejolieeart when I started my business 16 years ago. She connected with Gigi immediately and captured some of my favorite photos of her. And her Sr Session vision was absolutely perfect.
With Gigi's high school graduation a month away, it definitely has me nostalgic. I'm so grateful for a career that has given me the opportunity to do something I love and still be present for my daughter for all of the big and little moments along the way.
I get to work with this beauty again today. She is a guest on a local podcast and wanted her makeup to be camera ready. I'll be sure to share when the podcast is released!
