We’re so happy to have been able to take part in the packing for our soldiers and their families, with @shanaelaelhan (who’s doing so much for the country) and all her fam friends. We also had the chance to meet Bong @vimol.ch , who is truly a wonderful person. She works with an organization dedicated to helping street children by providing them with education: @ray_of_hope_cambodia , take a look.
The situation itself was sad, but everyone packed with smiles and happiness. Each time, it only strengthened the sense of community and mutual support even more. We had seen Shanae’s post asking for help that very same morning, and we immediately took the bus from Siem Reap to Battambang to be there. Because the main purpose of this trip was, above all, to help on the ground.
