@profoto roadshow in @atelieroost.amsterdam gave me the vision for my future. I met three world-class light specialists and professional photographers @ymkemyrte@avapivot@ahannola . They showed the first checkpoint to the road of making photographs, instead of taking photographs. On the other hand I also met three top-class models who were the best in their genres. @iamkarlasantos@matchi_josephine and @robinbergins . They showed the true essence of modeling when it comes to a full day session of long shoot, contributing to each photographer who was capturing them from their own perspective.
And last but not least, the magnificent makeup artists @christinaa.makeup and @katerinabrans who were top-notch. They performed three makeups for each model in a very tight time frame and in the previous reel you can see the unretouched results of their performance. Flawless... 🤩📸✨

@profoto Roadshow Amsterdam was my first major project in the Netherlands as the content creator for @colorwoodphoto .
It was inspiring to capture everything from the authentic, colorful lighting techniques of @ymkemyrte , to the deep emotional creative process of @avapivot , and the structural lighting setups of @ahannola .
Every moment was a masterclass in professional photography lighting.
The beautiful aesthetic of @atelieroost.amsterdam elevated the entire show, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Rogier Houwen's Solo Exhibition at peaceful @colorwoodphoto was my first attempt to capture moments in my new home. I captured the seconds using practical light available to my benefit. It was a challenging project lighting-vice but the outcome satisfied my clients.

Alweer 2 weken geleden terug openden wij feestelijk de Solo Expositie van Rogier Houwen, tevens de eerste expositie van de Colorwood Collection Art Gallery. Tijdens deze magische avond, met allemaal fijn gezelschap, genoten wij van heerlijk eten, unieke wijnen en prachtige fotografie.

It’s been already 2 weeks after the opening of the Solo Exhibition by Rogier Houwen, also the first exhibition of the Colorwood Collection Art Gallery. During this magical evening, with great company, we enjoyed delicious food, unique wines and beautiful photography.
