Grit EP is out today
Recorded in a warehouse together with our peers.. Broken and bent cymbals, smashed up, a burned guitar and some hand-made percussion instruments. It is in no way perfect, and wouldn’t want it any other way.
A great thank you to everyone involved in the making of this first record. The three tracks - Teething, How to feel and Swan Song were recorded in a warehouse together with Alberto and the band. It was sitting practically across the street from home. An old piano factory turned warehouse were I decided to start a band. This record is a proof of the time spent in Unit 18. Without that place this band would not exist. Where most of us lived, rehearsed, lended each other our instruments, broke them down and patched them back up. And a few fights. Chaos was made a year earlier at Jamie Neville’s Teeth Studios produced by Patrick James Fitzroy.
All in all, the EP is here and just how it should be. It’s just grit.

Green Star supported the Swirlies a few weeks back and I've not got round to posting pics. I'd definitely go and check them out again but in a different venue as the vocal were too low and barely audible, hence no vids this time. @greenstar______

Teething out today
