i will be one of few to bid a sad farewell to the wintertimes.
last night i dreamt of driving up and down a snow-covered mountain in a school bus. on a winding incline, we curved along intricate glowing christmas displays. i hurried to watch the lights blur together as we sailed by. the snow falling around us looked like fluffed up cloud shavings dropping to earth. at the end of the drive we got out of the school bus and watched roy orbison sing on a powdery stage … though he did end up slipping and falling down after performing “in dreams” …
