TBT : MEXICO 2002 (Not as I wrote. 2004) Every time I meet new people connecting to trance or coming to parties..🕺🏼 they ask me …— “Ari, how long have you been doing this?” So here’s a little story from 24 years ago… TBT to one of those nights that still gives me chills every time I think about it 🌙⚡ Teotihuacán, Mexico. The Pyramids. A party called Aztechno Rolls. No phones. No social media. No documentation — just pure, raw, unforgettable energy under the open sky. The organizers expected 2,000–3,000 people. Over 15,000 showed up. I still don’t fully understand how it happened. One moment you’re setting up next to ancient stone that’s been standing for thousands of years, and the next — you look out and there’s a sea of people stretching as far as you can see, dancing between the pyramids like some kind of ritual the ancients would’ve recognized. Playing with GMS that night felt less like a gig and more like a ceremony. The kind of moment that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with music in the first place. No footage. No likes. No algorithm.
