If you know someone who needs an interior designer or heritage consultant, please send them my way! I am particularly suited to working with clients who love colour, decorative arts & crafts, who have a period property, or who would like to infuse their contemporary home with a historicist style! I recently wrote an article about the transformation of the library at the @universitywomensclub for @theworldofinteriors and also published an episode narrating everything in more detail on Artfully Crafted. Both are linked in my bio. (Reposting this as previous captions were so bad they are annoying me 😂 Proof I really am a designer, not a social media whizz!) #InteriorDesign #Renovation #Restoration #HistoricDesign #VictorianLibrary #PrivateClub #DarkAcademia #London #ArtfullyCrafted

The incredibly talented @kamilahahmed.studio is a British Bangladeshi embroidery artist and designer based in London. In this episode of Artfully Crafted, we discuss how her practice uses a unique and experimental hybrid of embroidery techniques, from hand embroidery rooted in traditional Jamdani weaving and Ari hook embroidery, to digital embroidery software. We delve into her fascinating career, from working in Haute Couture and handmade wallpapers, to becoming a Textile Artist working at Cockpit Arts, Bloomsbury. She is a QEST Scholar who exhibited at the Collect Art Fair 2026 as part of Collect Open, and is learning metalsmithing and laser cutting to expand the possibilities of her commission and exhibition work. Kamilah’s commission for @leightonsambournemuseums , Facets in Resonance, is on display in the Arab Hall until the end of July. The Schiaparelli exhibition at the @vamuseum is splendid and well worth a visit, however I do have a bone to pick. Schiaparelli’s work was elegant, clever, witty, beautiful
and so obviously comfortable. The kind of outfit you can put on, command the room with, but also not have to be aware of every second that you have it on. The definition of the designer putting in effort so that you can look fantastic and feel effortless. Roseberry on the other hand insists on making beautiful but unwearable artworks
isn’t it the sign of a lack of ingenuity on the part of the designer that not being able to move in their clothes is the price women have to pay to partake in cutting edge design nowadays? #schiaparelli #schiaparellihautecouture #vamuseum #victoriaandalbertmuseum

Musée de la Vie Romantique is a wonderful house museum in Paris. Set back from the street and accessed through a cobbled courtyard, the charming 1830s hÎtel particulier was the backdrop to 19th century literary and artistic salons hosted by Ary Scheffer. The permanent exhibition celebrates him, his daughter Cornélia, and their social circle. Doors reopened in February after 18 months of renovation, so the interiors are looking impeccable
 look at that trompe l’Ɠil wallpaper! #romanticism #aryscheffer #museedelavieromantique

Best piece of advice? @johnreyntiens MBE is a glass artist and restorer who has worked on some of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious projects, including Windsor Castle, Big Ben, and the Diamond Jubilee Window for Elizabeth II in Westminster Hall. In this video, we discuss John’s experience growing up as the son of Patrick Reyntiens OBE, the leading British stained glass artist of the 20th century; becoming an artist after working in hospitality; and how he mastered interviews and won tenders for some of this generation’s biggest projects as @reyntiensglassstudio . Too many favourites at @ceramicartlondon so I’ll share a few on here and a few more in my stories. In order, pieces by @kimkim_ceramic @vanessahogge @james_and_tilla_waters @lisabirisceramicart @timcopseypottery Ceramic Art London is at Olympia until Sunday, and what’s really special about it is that the makers are manning their own stand, so you get to learn about their work directly from them. To me that makes the experience of collecting even more special ✹ Thank you Jihyun for inviting me to the preview :) #CAL2026 #ceramicartlondon #contemporaryceramics
