We end as we’re beginning
As I stare at my reflection
Upon further inspection
What was once a home around me
Is barely a pot to piss-in
The halls enthralled with echoed caws of all my moans and bitchin'
Walls closing in no openins' to move, huh
I find it fitting
I’ve outgrown the comfy clothes that I suppose I used to fit in
To be estranged in new terrain when I’ve arranged the bed I sit in?
Makes no sense if I speak true and don’t dilute with my description
Of what’s come to pass that’s in the past
Roles played by my decisions
Roads paved with good intentions leads straight to devils minions
The demons that I wrestle with have plagued a righteous vision
Were there ever forks along the path to change my disposition?
Quickened paces shrink the gap while on this track of expedition
Face the fears not to the rear what lies ahead is my condition
Mirrored image looking back at me
We end as we’re beginning
