Organoid Protonoesis is a neurobiological, data-driven, interactive installation that gives form and expression to the intricate relationship between brain cell organoid firings and AI. Media Arts and Technology (MAT) at the University of California, Santa Barbara is a transdisciplinary graduate program that fuses emergent media, computer science, engineering, electronic music, and digital art research, practice, production, and theory. The MAT department will showcase our students’ cutting-edge research and new media artworks, presented on June 5th at the Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, and Technology (SBCAST).
