📢 Introducing Marco Conti Sikic (MCSK), the final participant in the Alias Studio x FAE: Open Call residency — an initiative by @serpentineuk ’s Future Art Ecosystems inviting artists to experiment with generative AI by training their own models on the Alias platform.
His Alias, ‘Silicon Memories’, began with hand-drawn portraits produced during states of hyperfocus. ✍️ These were then processed through REPLICATIO — an AI bot trained to interpret emotion. Alias.studio learned solely from these interpretations, resulting in a hauntingly beautiful visual output, tracing the artist’s neurodivergent thought patterns and translating his perspective into machine learning protocols.

Primavera trained a custom AI model using her own artwork on @aliasbyalien , then designed a “prompt matrix” that can generate 25 distinct botanical pieces. 🌸
This model is special — it learned not only from plant imagery,
but also from its own previous creations.
A feedback loop of art + code, where nature meets the synthetic. 🌱💻
As it re-learned from itself, the AI began to blur boundaries:
not quite organic, not purely digital — something in between.
