(4) poor Boon Hock had his phone literally brick while on the flight to Berlin, scrambled to scribble down the house address on a piece of paper before he forgot, and then had to flag a taxi pay cash just to get to the address.
Jasmine and I assumed he was delayed cos we didn’t get any reply from him, and to our surprise he was there waiting with the airbnb host lmao. Crazy story overall.
(5) trying to de-stress by getting the dvd plater in the house to work, and listening to some vinyl records.
(6 -) after going to the mall to try and fix his bricked phone, poor soul ended up having to buy a new phone entirely, having to re-setup and transfer all his 2FA from scratch. After finally transferring his work 2FA, finally some joy after all that stress.
Poor dude finds out only after calling his family back that some health scare happened at home

(2024) Nuremberg > Berlin
(1) Milch und Zucker. The fresh bread and menemen legit changed my life.
(3-5) Interior defenses of Nuremberg Castle
(6-10) Last day in Nuremberg, we go back to Milch und Zucker for a nice chill send off.
I don’t think I will ever forget the warmth and friendliness from this man. The cafe owner asked us: “Did you guys fight yesterday?” I laughed, “Yes, how could you tell?”
“Well, somehow I felt it” he smiled. “Promise me one thing guys - keep fighting :)”
It’s stayed with me ever since, that someone saw our struggle and wanted the happy ending for us. I’ve never stopped thinking about going back since that day.

1) carrying my bag to work cos am going airport from work. I nearly missed my flight that day goodness me.
Microsoft Windows happened to have a global outage on that particular day, so at 730pm while getting ready to shower at work I googled to check if my flight was delayed.
My dumb ass thought my check in time was 9pm when actually the flight was taking off at 9pm LOL. Had a pretty good awakening, literally threw all my stuff into my bag and booked a taxi to get to the airport.
2) butter paneer on board etihad - solid
3) lovely independent and self sufficient child, barely needed any help from parents, ironically the flight was filled with people talking and coughing all night,
4) pizza at Abu Dhabi - $13 SGD but surprisingly enjoyable
5) on the way out of Munich airport
7) Had my breakfast at Frauenkirche plaza before the tourists and the sunlight woke up - it was so peaceful and quiet
8) locker where I deposited my backpack at Munich Central Station
9) wandering round the Frauenkirche area
10) protected bicycle lanes in a 4 way crossing (Singapore really should adopt this)
11) Asamkirche - this place as hilariously small compared to how grand it looks in photos. I actually didn’t realise I walked past it while trying to find the place. Also hilariously tourist trappy, and hard to stay still to admire the craftsmanship.k
