I know I was there in the summer - the easiest time to be in Alaska, but her majesty and wild beauty changed me forever.
One of the coolest elopements I’ve ever had the honor of photographing. After getting ready at a cute hotel in Anchorage, we drove to Palmer where Outbound Heli took us to 3 different incredible locations atop the Knik Glacier. We saw landscapes we’ve only dreamt about. Textures, changes, unimaginable beauty. Kira and Chris said their vows amongst old and untamable mountains. Their love and adoration shining bright in the middle of it all. What an incredible, lucky day. God, how I wish I could go and do it all again. 🤍

I honestly barely even have words. Individually, they have two of the biggest hearts, each unique in the way that they show their inner circle love. Together, though, they’re perfect puzzle pieces. I don’t ever want one without the other now that I’ve seen the power their love holds. Lindsay’s extroverted free spirit is perfectly balanced by Tatum’s quiet sensibility. Witnessing this love so big while exploring another country felt like the most intimate way of seeing and telling their love story, and I still have really loud come-to moments about the whole damn experience. HOLY SHIT WE WERE IN GREECE! I GOT TO PHOTOGRAPH THEIR LOVE STORY IN A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. I’ll never get over it.

All of my maternity and family sessions come with little movies now 🤗 This is one of my favorite ways to capture love. Women should be worshipped for all they create in this world. At the very least, I can give them an emotional glimpse they’d typically never see from a third POV.
Your shoot now comes with a Fujifilm home video I guess 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, I was pregnant and sick as hell at their engagement shoot, then I was newly postpartum at their wedding, and now they’re pregnant with twin girlies 💕 It’s been an honor to capture so much of their lives. They’re going to have so much fun and they’re going to be the coolest parents.
For their maternity shoot, we decided to visit a place that is special to them and their little guy. It was windy and wild and unpredictable, and we had so much fun soaking in all the magic of the desert.
Nikki and I have been friends since high school and I felt so honored to capture this time in her life. Her little dude is going to be so cool.
Usually I bring my Fujifilm to take filmy, creative sneaks but l used it to make this little home video this time instead. I’m obsessed. I know these moments are going to feel like a lifetime ago when their little one is finally here, but capturing the magic of growing their first baby is so important. Their love made a human. Their love made them parents. 🥹
