After taking a short hiatus to recharge our batteries, we are pleased to introduce to you our next party series: Rhythm Rituals. Intimate day gatherings, putting sound quality at the centre of our concept. For our first event, we wanted to work around one theme: connection. The idea was to build bridges between different disciplines, communities, and musical genres. We have curated a line-up of artists that have anchored this idea of connection as part of their careers. We are inviting artists that we consider pillars in their respective scenes: @alfred_anders , founder of Crevette Records; @sono_ventura_soundsystem , founder of Sono Ventura Records, and @meni_ojoo , founder of Ojoo Music. When preparing the concept for Rhythm Rituals, our collective sat together to note down what would be our recipe for a great party: a well calibrated and powerful soundsystem, great selectors, intimacy, creatives from various fields working together, and a community that appreciates all of the above. Special format for this one, a 2 hours set recorded at Horst festival 24, from the real wax-king of Belgium, the one and only @alfred_anders 🇧🇪🧑🏻‍🚀 This was an absolutely cosmic trip, the pilot made us gravitate around the Soleil Rouge, he crossed several asteroid fields with disconcerting ease to deliver what was probably our favorite set of that edition. Small Steps and Crevette Records are teaming up for the first time this year during Listen Festival 2025, taking over the unique canal-side venue K1 in Brussels! For this special occasion, we’ve each invited some of our favourite artists and close family members to flip some serious wax. To make things even more special, we’re bringing in two hand-built soundsystems to sonorize the event. The Crevette room will be powered by Boris Soundsystem, while the Small Steps room will be powered by Kantarion Sound ! Mix all that together, and it’s promising to be a crazy night! Tickets are already 80% sold out, so don’t sleep on this one — it’s going to be a proper dance!
